Please follow the format below for requesting a feature.
The problem that this feature will solve:
The model and sketch library allows you to import a Shapr3D model / sketch into a project. Unlike importing a Sharp3D project where the entire content is imported, even with unwanted objects.
Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:
Example: Procedure: in project “A” you model several variations of a chair. You mark the given chair (object) and export it to your object library. You are working on project “B” and select the given chair from the library. It contains its sketch and you can further fine-tune it as needed. The object in the library contains only metadata related to the given object and nothing else. In the future, the object library could also be shared between users. (I think that the shared library was one of the key features on which Sketchup grew). It would also require a panel for editing library content, where it would be defined whether they are shared or private.
What can’t you achieve without this feature?
This feature would speed up work with repeating objects or sketches. (for example: Screws, structural profiles - where there is an exact profile but in a given project I can still extend it).
