Lofting parametric bottle

I’m having trouble recreating this bottle. I’ve lofted the the bottom but cant seem to understand how the base flows into the handle and bottle top. Help!

First create the bottle without the handle.

I don’t believe the handle is flowing, one big hole is just subtracted out of the bottle and the inner part is just inserted and shaved off the shape of the body.

Create this separately and insert it

Ahhhh ok. So this is where I am so far. Should I have made this level with the line of the top?

What you should do is just sketch the profile of the bottle.

And create guides for the loft.

I added the handle.

Which approach did you use to make the handle?

Want to compare with mine

It was basic, just fillet.

I also used fillets but get a little bit another result

I think the main difference is your bottle is completely oval.

Mine has a flat spot in the middle.

At first I wasn’t going to make the handle, than I realized I can use the flat spot to smoothly curve in and thought that would look pretty cool.

I cannot seem to loft properly. This is the result.

Yes, it is.

I decided it is oval

Ya I saw it on Behance after I made it.

At first I thought it’s a instore brand from one of those boujee market that sells 2 buck water for 30 and just label things like “Avloppsvatten” :money_mouth_face:

Oh and my version is the Detergent Trees & Forest.

Trim the bottom afterwards

If you’re using guide lines they have to touch every profile you include in one loft operation.

OK! I got it, thank you. how would i then taper the handle in a realistic way?

I made the bottle shape more oval, also I don’t like working tilted.
