Hey guys,
I just wanted to ask if it is possible to make joints in Shapr3D and then print it. Will these joints actually work, or will they be unmovable?
Thanks a lot,

What kind of joints would you like to make? If you design them with necessary tolerances, they will work.
Like maybe a door joint.
Thx for the quick response
Hey guys,
So what necessary tolerances will I have to do?
Maybe you could do a tutorial on how to make all the different joints (e.g. gliding joint, hinge joint, pivot joint, ellipsoid joint, saddle joint, ball and socket joint, prismatic joint, rotoide joint, universal joint, etc.) so that they will work if we print them.
Of course, you don’t have to do all of them
Thanks a million,

It is hard to tell, it depends on your printer and the materials you plan to use. To be honest we are not experts in this
I’ve been using shapr3D to create 3D printed joints so know thwhat best methods for strength and weight. Happy to discuss my learnings over email bobjiapps@gmail.com
Thanks so much, that is really nice of you, @Bonjiapps, but I realised that I don’t need to make joints right now; but if do, I’ll contact you first thing!
Thanks again,
