I don’t know if its already in the program but simple Material Builder would be handy. Import a stich able image. Indicate a scale and orientation of that image then add it to your library. Being able to control colour, reflectivity and transparency are nice features but you have a pretty good range of those already.

It’s not yet available, but might be an improvement for later, we will need to do some research if the generated materials’ quality can be good enough.

Yes, you would know already that there is more to it than just importing an image to map. Making a material seamless was a bit of an art in the days when I was more hands on. As I keep saying, I’m just throwing ideas at you because I’ve go a bit of experience in the area and I think with Shapr3D you are on a winner.
