I am struggling with the navigation feature. I have the classic feature turned on but it still seems to switch to orbit regularly and I cannot make simple adjustments like rotating around an object without it orbiting all crazy. I’m using macbook pro track pad.
Navigation has really really been frustrating me for a few months now. It is making usage very frustrating.

Fully understanding your issue. I use a magic mouse II in Fusion 360 setting, command key and shift key work best for my movements. Tried the other settings but it didn’t go very well. Also using a MacBook Pro.
I recently bought a Space Mouse to help “travel” through the inside/outside of the designs. Had to reset the settings to “slow” though.
I would spend some time with the other settings to see which one fits you best.
