Problem with shelling when surface would self intersect I think

1 mm works 1.5 mm does not work.

The issue seems for me to be self intersecting surfaces killing the shelling.
Does the shelling command trim itself?

Also in MOI 1.5 dies while 1mm works.

Fusion360 just charms through it.
You can see for fusion to make it work you have to remove the fillets and retrim the offset surface!
This functi0n is incredibly important.

Yes :frowning: That’s one of the weakest tools in the underlying modeling kernel. We have reported issues regarding that problem, I am sure they are working on it.

Most apps fail here also.

This would be a typical build B by hand trim and then join everything into a solid.
