Reduce the horizontal width of the items and history panels

I stand corrected on the Items panel, it can be sized with either finger or pencil using the almost invisible (:grinning:) tiny gray bar.

The frame around the panel, the gaps between the columns in the panel, and the gap between the panel and the left side of the screen do seem like they could be narrower.

Any little bit to make it narrower would help.
