Request feature: add notes

Would be nice to be able to attach notes containing comments to a part of a model (like postit ?).

I was just thinking of how much I would use this feature during iterations. I keep bouncing back and forth between Shapr3d and Notes.

Being able to add “Issues” to a face would be awesome. Like a comment with a “Resolved” button.

FYI, with iOS 15 you can now drag a “quick note” on top of the Shapr3D app (or pretty much any app) by simply dragging the pen or a finger from the lower right side of the screen.

Similar to a screen shot from the left side.

I need to learn all those new gestures. I don’t use my iPad enough to keep up.

Yup, me too. I probably don’t use half of the features. That one just stuck in my mind because it seemed like a really handy tool. I use it all the time.

I really need the ability to add notes to a Shapr3d file. Right now, I use a naming convention with incrementing characters and reference them to a note that I save on my computer describing each iteration and what changes I made. I do not always remember to go into my note and make changes. I would be far more likely to remember to update the note if it lived in my Shapr3d file, or at least showed up in the app when I open a file.

Guys @Shapr3D, it is not that much complicated to just allow us having a textbox somewhere, enabling us to put notes on a model we’re working on for several days… Also it can be helpful when we come back on a model, months after, and have our notes explaining some of the things we have made… Why can’t you add this simple feature ?

Agree with above, there are notes for feedback in visualization, but having a way to write personal notes within the main 3d for viewport for quick access would be very useful. I would love to write personal comments, but have to utilize another note taking app and you know thats another whole convoluted process.
