Shapr3D to Carveco

Hi there,
I am designing furniture in Shapr3D to be cut out on a CNC using CarveCo. However, when I import a Shapr3D design into CarveCo, I am left with a LOT of overlapping and unjoined vectors. So many, it’s almost not worth doing it. I tried to import as a 3D model, which it does, but then the CArveCo software see’s it as a 3D relief, and wants to cut the entire sheet, not just the pockets and edges.

Is there a better way to export from Shapr3D to CarveCo or similar vector software?

Thanks,
James
