Problem: redundant buttons and naming.
"Consider making an option to allow for modifying the number of screens and clicks needed to export files.
Workflow: 1. press share, 2 Click export of file 3. choose file format 4 rename 5 confirm name 56 confirm save location.
There should be an option to bypass redundant steps from above flow: eg. 1 click share. 2 choose file 3 rename 4 confirm save location. The two steps eliminated here take up to 50% of the time to export as the window change takes some time. while modelling for 3d printing and making changes in sharp3d after slicing a model as simulation for print, this time adds up. Why the rename and confirm location steps aren’t already combined is beyond my understanding of a team that otherwise focused lots of effort on UX/UI. The new first pop up window can easily be eliminated by making a second button (Share AND Export), many hobby users will likely have no need for the share for collaboration feature and are essentially having UX inefficiency penalties applied to them with the way it is currently set up. Other than splitting the function into two separate buttons, having an option in the preferences to disable colloaboration window is another way this can be addressed.
