Sketch tips for my Subaru part

Good morning everyone,

I am new to shapr3d and I am trying to sketch a plastic piece for my Subaru to 3D print. I am having a hard time figuring out what tools to use or how I should sketch the step up (or down). Can some one point me in the right direction?

Looks like a job for the sweep tool. Someone will have a better idea. I would start with taking a picture top down, importing it into Shapr. Scaling the image to match the length and then sketching the dominant curve we see on the right side of your pic.

From there make a plane at a point on a curve and sketch the profile facing us in the pic you uploaded onto the plane and sweep it along the top curve. You can take a better aligned profile pic to import and scale for reference.

That will give you the initial parts main shape. Then sketch from top down the cut we see on the left side of this pic to subtract from the main shape.

That’s where I would start. I am more artists than engineer or draftsman. So someone else my have a better way.
