The problem that this feature will solve:

Special materials/shaders will give us more options on rendering/exporting/presenting 3d models

Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:

SOLID materials/shaders to render models without any shadow and/or gradient, just solid color
TOON shaders to render with specific quantized color steps and variable strokes
DIELECTRIC shader that allow us to choose levels for transparency, refraction, transparency blur, absorption, shadow weight, and so on
VELVET material option with control of fiber lenght
TOWEL fabric material
IMAGE SHADER Material with images (both jpg/svg) placed on them as a diffuse source and/or pattern and/or bump map with shade and solid capabilities
WIREFRAME material both transparent (without fill, stroke only) and frontface( with fill ), with with shade and solid capabilities, and fill color AND stroke color options

What can’t you achieve without this feature?

Much more options on rendering/exporting/presenting 3d models/projects

Is this a workflow blocker for you? Is this why you can’t use Shapr3D for work? Is this slowing you down?
I still render part on my shapr 3d models on CADMIO (iOS) CHEETAH3D (macOS) or another software like RHINO because we lack materials options and light/shadow precise control.
