Sudden problems exporting dxf for laser

Today I’m having a problem with my dxf file not showing as complete when I send it to my laser vendor. I have done dozens of parts using the same.process with no issues. I’ve even tried redrawing the parts but with the same problems. I have attached 2 screenshots, one shows the Shapr3D dxf file and the other is what the laser company ( Sendcutsend) is seeing the file as. Can anyone suggest something I might be missing or is this a glitch after a Shapr3D update possibly?

Hi
Just tried exporting a 2d DXF for my CAM software and did not find any issues.
There has been another update for the software on the website.
It is now at 5.791.8191
If your software has not auto-updated yet, go to the download page and ‘download’.
When the installer runs, it will do the update

I have similar issues. It happens when Shapr is projecting a 3d curve onto the drawing.

My example in RED should be one continuous line but they are separate.

CCAD and Explode kinda fixed the disappearing issue.

Update: It appears that I didn’t have the part aligned exactly to the Z plane. I ended up creating a simple rectangular block on the Z plane and then used the align tool, then hid the rectangular block, created a drawing and output the dxf file and this solved the problem.
Even though I zoomed in on the part and it looked like it was parallel to the plane it must have been misaligned by such a small amount that is was not identifiable. Hope this helps in case anyone else has the same issue.

You can make sure your sketch is on an AXIS Plane using the History panel options for the sketch.
Expand the Sketch line in the history sidebar
Then click ‘EDIT’ button for Plane
Now click on the relevant square of the origin plane gizmo
I only ever export a 2d DXF after I have put it hard on the axis plane I want

Picture for reference, in case you have not used that option before.
The sketch is on the XY plane, but using the history panel option and selecting the ZY plane, it will flip the sketch.
The tool will move a sketch to a plane from any angle.

@SCALEMODEL
That is an interesting one, I will keep a lookout for that.

Hi again
It looks like you are outputting a DXF via the drawing output.
For manufacture, output the sketch (DXF file) direct from the modelling page.
