Update not as useful as previous versions

So many issues with the update, the previous versions were far superior and effective.

After drawing a spline, I am trying to draw another line beginning from the end control point of the first. The app no longer allows this, it just adds another control to the original spline.
Is there a way around this?
The app is absolutely useless for me if this is the new normal.

Hi,

Now you have the ability to add and remove control points to a spline. Here is an example:

Now, the bottom part is a separate spline from the top part, and each can be continued individually without interfering, but they are still connected so they generate a closed sketch.

Same way, they can be rejoined if necessary.
