hi!
i’ve been trying to recreate someone else’s cad model for a while now, but i’ve been stuck on how to make the back edge profile. each end has a different sized chamfer (and its not quite 45° either.. so.. a custom triangle sketch on either end?) with a sweeping curve along its back + top. super tricky..
first image is the reference cad model, second one is my current model state.

i think so… it looks close! i wonder why the top line looks so warbly.. that was happening to me too.
sorry, i havent been at the computer since i posted this, im tearing apart my subaru transmission and so i have made no time for the computer. i will return to this topic soon and we can figure this thing out. thank you for replying!!!
It looks wobbly because I used an unconventional method to reproduce the lines from your drawing. DIdn’t work well but I figured you would get the point.
