I have a model to 3D print for which I want to create a Voronoi pattern on the 2 largest sides (mainly to reduce filament and maintain strength, but also because it looks really cool! I understand that Shapr3D doesn’t have a Voronoi pattern generator, but perhaps I could do a workaround, such as overlaying an SVG with the pattern? I’m a rank amateur, BTW. I’d settle for a alternative pattern if necessary.

Convert an SVG to DXF is what I would do (enternal program like inkscape, illustrater, corel draw). Make an offset plane from the side, import the DFX onto the plane and then project the side’s edges to the plane so you can edit/ trim the pattern.
With some specifications I can create pattern/step for you to use. Otherwise there is some Voronoi pattern generators online.

Here is an export of my model. Thanks for being willing to tinker with it. I removed the areas on the sides where I want the Vornonoi structures to go. The wall are only 2mm thick, but there won’t be much of a stress on them–and I’m trying to maximize the number of these models that will fit on my filament storage shelf.

I’m working on that. I used the Voronator website to transform the subtracted area from the sides, exported as a stl, split it to the formation I liked the most, and am trying to make an SVG of the screenshot. I know this is probably way to complicated, but it’s the only way I could figure out how to get the Voronoi structure to fit the shape. I’ve not been able to find a generator that would do this shape and export to a image or SVG.

I found a Voronoi app online. I went through a lot to export it to DXF and then to import and use in Shapr. It is doable. A lot I don’t know about SVG. A few tedious steps in Corel Draw to make it exportable as a DXF. https://voronoi-editor.web.app/ I will look for a Voronoi app that exports DFX. I want to do some projects with it myself.
