Where do you get your models?

So Skethcup has a store where one can download modles by other designers. As far as I can tell Shapr3d does not have that, correct me if I am wrong. So is there a place that Shapr3d users download 3d models from?

You can obtain files from Thingiverse.com. There are some other sites as well. In some cases, you can modify those files, and sometimes not. Because Shapr3D uses a direct modeling method, many files stored on Thingiverse are not editable.

GrabCAD.com is a site where you can download CAD models in just about any common format. For Shapr3D, the best options are X_T (native ParaSolid format) or STEP (universal format).

Mcmaster is a great source. They have 3D models of almost everything they sell. Screws, bolts, fittings, rails, springs etc etc
