I’ve seen countless posts on this website ever since the HBPM update launched describing how the update has impeded their workflow and made a lot of simple things much harder and slower, and I’d like to add my voice to the choir.
Ever since the update got implemented, I’ve run into countless issues again and again, and whenever I go to this forum to search for the issue, I find that it’s caused by these new features.
I’m sure HB parametric modeling is an absolute gift for some, but I struggle learning to use it, and from what I can read, even the people who do know how to use it feel slowed down by the addition.
A post from staff in Jan 2024 said they were working on it, but from what I can tell nothing has changed yet?
There must be a way to turn this off? At least per. project.
Shapr3D is the only CAD program I’ve ever enjoyed working with, and a huge reason for this has been the simplicity and convenience, but where I could usually sit down with a client and quickly sketch up a draft of a drawing and/or model, I now constantly run into issues with the program not allowing me to do what it used to. This has slowed down my workflow massively and I spend more time fiddling with workarounds for things that used to be simple than drawing my sketch.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to turn HBPM off for a project? And if it isn’t, any workarounds to for example unlinking sketches?
I can see staff suggests to hide sketches in stead of deleting them, but I can’t figure out if it’s even possible to hide only some of the sketched when they are all on the same plane.
