Bring your models to life with custom logos and labels while enjoying a more predictable experience when navigating complex sections and selections.

  • New: Now you can add Decals in Visualization. Import .png or .jpeg images to place and position standalone graphics—like logos and labels—directly on your model’s surfaces.

    Note    : You’ll need to update to the latest version to open it.

  • Improved: Selections are now always rendered on top of your geometry, including when previewing steps in your history. You can also directly select sketches displayed on top of models, making it easier to work with overlapping designs.

  • Improved: Saved Views now capture more details when using Section View. In addition to the plane position, your views now capture the on/off states for 2D Section View and Section Only modes, making it easier to return to your exact sectioning setup.

nice.. some comments

  • it would be nice to have the movable node able to snap to the center.
  • also would be nice to be able to fit image to plane instead of fine adjusting the scale
  • exporting as .usdz doesnt seem to retain the image

im not sure if this feature was intended as a uv map texturing solution, or just for a quick n’ dirty mockup
