Could we get some instruction on how to input the basic calculations within the dimensioning dialog box?
I’ve tried on Apple’s magic keyboard on ipad, and can’t get it to work.
Basic calculations work on MacBook Pro, but not on windows 10.
这次更新在注释区域计算尺寸非常难用希望改回原来的使用方法
Along-a-path patterns are definitely on our backlog but we don’t have an exact ETA for it yet.
Hi @Amanda do ‘basic calculations in the dimension annotation area’ actually work on an iPad with a keyboard attached? I just can’t figure it out?
Thanks
Hi @sodaprojects ,
Unfortunately we have found a bug related to the quick calculations. The fix is on the way and with the next release (5.200) it will work for iPad with keyboard as well. The issue comes when you are in sketching, until the fix you can try it in 3D modeling tools.
Hi @Alexander_P_Shapr3D
Thanks for clearing that up. I’m looking forward to this little improvement. Hope the 5.200 release isn’t too far off.
I haven’t had any success doing calculations in any dialog box, sketching or with 3D modelling tools.
We’re just meant to be using standard mathematical operators right? ( + - * / )
Just hold on until early next week. Yes, the basic operators are the ones that are supported, just a quick example how it should look:
Great feeling! This is a long-awaited feature.
