A easy way to add these details?

I modeled a DHD from Stargate and its nearly done but I am wondering what the best way would be to add the arcs and lines cut in to the body. I can only post one image… I’m new but a paying customer. (not good for getting help).

Yes… That is the original prop during its restoration.
Any idea on the best approach to this?

An image of the DHD model I created in Shapr3D because I am limited on embedded content.

Welcome aboard Coffee. Those details would be easy to draw and pull into the flat panels. On the pipes you could project the lines around them first.

Hey!
Thanks.
Love this software. Booleans ops are the best I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot.
I tried projection. I basically aligned that image best I could and created a bunch of closed polys.
It would cut the the 2 faces on the front but a few refused to let me pull them.
Probably because of the curve in the faces at the top of the base.
I did managed to cut the model up by booleaning the body with extruded polys. Not easy real fast because I have to do an intersects so I can use those in subtraction from the original base. Not sure I am explaining it well enough to follow.

Anyway. Thanks for the input!!
