Add feature Concave fillet

I want a feature to be added, the ability to make Concave fillets with the “chamfer/fillet” tool.
Instead of having to make a second cylinder, convex that cylinder and subtract the shape to make a Concave.

Attached you can find illustrations of what I am talking about.

Please add this and thank you.

For these situations, I would draw the cross section (profile) of the bottom part, then revolve it.

That only works for a simple circular shape. What about an irregular shape. Why can’t we have a concave fillet support? Seems really silly to not have this, I have to hack around this and do a normal fillet which I use as a subtractor to where I want my concave fillet. Please can we add this feature?

I agree. I’ve needed it a few times and have had to use sweeping as a workaround.

Would have been nice to have a concave fillet or reverse fillet feature just now.

In the interim, does this work for you?

Uhhh, my bad, I think I was Imagining something a little different. like a subtractive process that scoops out material where the two edges meet making like a concave divot or trough… to avoid having to create another object to substract from where the two faces meet.

Something like this:

Looks like a feature an app called plasticity has?

LOL i was quite confused!

More like this.

It’s called Pipe tool in Plasticity.

Well, there are workarounds (for now anyway).
