Hi - apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn’t see an answer.
I’m running a 2019 iPad mini 5 - do I have to use an Apple Pencil with Shapr3d or can I use a different stylus? Penoval or adinote are my preferred alternatives which all make use of the newer digitiser.
Hi @Trc Welcome to the Forum
Despite the fact that some manufacturers offer alternatives ‘said’ to be replacements for the Apple Pencil you may be taking a serious risk in making a non Apple choice, unless you are able to return it in exchange for an Apple Pencil, or refund.
The last information from S3D is that they only support Apple Pencil.
Thanks for the reply, have just seen what pressure sensitivity is needed for so will stick to the Apple Pencil as the alternatives I was looking at don’t support the pressure sensitivity.
Thanks again
