Any one has issues with exporting the coloured obj file to 3d print via slicer like Bambi studio?

Has anyone had this issue with Shapr3D? I created a model and coloured it in Shapr3D, but when I import it into the slicer, the colours appear randomly through the middle layers and infill instead of only on the surface. Is this because Shapr3D colour is only visual/material colour and not proper separated bodies for multi-colour printing?

it actually impact on the item itself as the colour can be seen when its lighter colour. Really want to learn how to avoid this. Any advice would be really appreciated

Hello!

Yes, the issue you’re seeing is expected: Shapr3D’s colors are visual/material attributes only and don’t translate into true multi‑color separations for 3D printing. To get proper multi‑color output, you need to design your model as separate bodies or export multiple files, one per color.
