App crash in Visualization Mode with 3DConnexion Space Mouse

Hey there!

Out of a sudden on all my designs the app crashes when try to use my 3DConnexion Space Mouse in Visualization mode. In 3D Modeling mode it works absolutely normal. But switching to Visualization and just tipping the Space Mouse rotary the app crashes immediately.

Is there any issue known?

Can you please tell us the following? Please feel free to open a support ticket to share the details below:

  • The detailed hardware specs of the device you are using
  • The Space Mouse model you are using
  • The version of Shapr3D you are using

Since the app itself is sending a crash report after relaunching it, am I right that you will have all these informations already, won’t you?

Indeed, however, as Discourse and Shapr3D are independent, the ticket would also help localize your Shapr3D account. Can you please confirm that you registered it with the same email address here at Discourse?

@woodbytes the fix is out, please update Shapr3D

It may happen that it will not be available instantly as a regular update. In that case, you should search for Shapr3D in the AppStore and visit the page to get the Update option. For more info, please follow this article:

I just installed the update and everything works as expected.
