Apple Pencil not selecting a body consistently with double tap

I thought my iPad was the issue with the double tab not working well

I’m planning to upgrade from my m1 iPad Pro. I’m wording if I should trade in or just keep it

I planned on selling my iPad Pro M1 when I ordered the new iPad Pro. Our son needs a new device. He is buying it from me. Otherwise, I would have sold it and gotten more for it.

ItsWorthMore.com pays more than Apple when I checked, $600.00+ and $500.00 respectively, a few weeks ago. I have had good luck with ItsWorthMore.

My iPad Pro 13" M4 and Apple Pencil Pro arrive tomorrow. If you check back with me, I will let you know the difference. I expect a big boost in performance.

I noticed an improvement lately. I received an email that a double tap fix was in the works. Seems it improved the situation.

However, my iPad Pro M1 is still a bit of the issue simply because my house drawing has gotten detailed and larger. I find myself needing to wait for it to respond. I didn’t have to before. Smaller drawings are responsive with no lag.

In conclusion, the Shapr3D double tap fix is noticeable, but my M1 is not keeping up on larger Shapr3D tasks. Upgrading this soon was not the plan, but necessary. My iPad Pro 13" M4 arrives tomorrow. I am looking forward to better performance.

how is shapr working on the new ipad pro?

It ran slow, only slightly faster than my iPad Pro M1 8 GB RAM. I tried an M4 with 8 GB RAM and one with 16 GB RAM as was recommended by Apple. A technical specialist at the Apple Store understood the problem as software mostly and not hardware. He was right.

I returned those for a Mac mini M2 Pro. The GPU is faster than the iPad Pro M4. It is good. This Mac mini has enough graphic performance to correct some of the performance issues. I hope the software gets upgraded soon.

I cannot wait for the performance degradation repairs. I have to use my drawings now.

I also have lots of problems with speed and large models. The software just does not work well for complicated things, which is a bummer.
