Extrude isn’t automatically showing the length input. You have to hover your mouse over the arrows for the input to appear.
See video. When selecting a sketch item, I am attempting to input a 1mm figure and the machine beeps at me, only until I hover my mouse over the arrows does the input appear and I can add -1mm successfully.
Extrude Bug
I don’t seem to be able to reproduce your issue. Could you please also share your exact OS version, and maybe the design in which you encounter this?
Hi Peter,
macOS Sonoma 14.3 (23D56)
Is there a place I can securely upload the design? I don’t wish to make my design public at this time.
Hi Peter,
Another issue I’ve found, is when I select to fillet an edge, it doesn’t auto highlight the input field without jiggling my mouse, hovering over the arrows or tabbing.
Can you send it via email to beta@shapr3d.com ? That’d be the easiest, but let me know if it’s too large for that and I’ll find another solution.
Hi Peter,
I have the same issue as @HarrisonDavies on iPad. Shapr3d does not regularly highlight the text box when selecting faces or edges. Most but not all of the time, I need to hit the tab key or tap the field. In this video, my project is very simple: I have one sketch, and one body, a rectangular solid. I am selecting faces and edges.
Using 5.541 beta.
