In my mind, I am seeing a disassociation of parts, of a body, when I expect a body to be one whole thing and be manipulated as a whole, not in parts. Is this a limitation of Parasolid? Feature or flaw?
For example

when projecting line onto a body (1st pic). When I select the top surface, it left out the center part. That seems odd to me.

Manipulating the surface of the body with a projected line (2nd & 3rd pic) it seems to treat the center section as a different body. Moving or rotating the projected line gets the same result. I don’t remember this behavior before the switch to Parsolid. The results seem counterintuitive to me. Flaw or feature?
