Hi, trying to create this capsule…
main volume is quiet easy.
But how do you make this “pointy” ends with the revolve tool ?
Any idea ?

Just a quick and dirty design.
I let the ‘thread’ run naturally into the skirt section…
If I were to do this properly I would have given it the correct profile and wall thickness.

Nice try, never thought about that technic… 
Could fit for a long distance object, but not precise enough for my actual project…

I thought what @welshsteve presented was spot on. I’m curious as to where exactly do you need more precision?

If you watch my original post, the picture shows less rounded elements…
With @welshsteve trick, I was also not able to add round edges inside the elipse (not sure my explanation is correct… as my English is maybe not good enough…)
