The problem that this feature will solve:
Ease creating chamfer. By for example; an option under the pop-up corners/continue settings ‘push to limit’?
Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:
Efficient work flow.
What can’t you achieve without this feature?
Not applicable.
Is this a workflow blocker for you? Is this why you can’t use Shapr3D for work? Is this slowing you down?
Slowing down yes.
I do work in parallel in other CAD programs in a mix, but one of the (many) tools that is outstanding compared to others is the chamfer tool.
Such in the screen dump, would be completely impossible to work out for me in what I otherwise has in the toolbox.
But one thing that could simplify this tremendously is an ability to automatically go to max R and the be able to step back. With a complicated setup it is some effort to blindly by mousing the arrow get over the limit (Operation failed because the resulting body wouldn’t be valid) and trying to get in max range, and after that, if suitable, lower the value. I get its causes a lot of calculations even for a M2 and therefore is hard to find the limit (by mouse movements), but I figure it would be quite easy to let Shapr find the max limit.
Or is there a hidden/smart way to do this?
