Change length of line to match angle

Hello,

I’m very new to this program. I am making a leg to a woodworking project. The outside angle is 14 degrees and the inside angle is 16 (as shown in the picture). When I adjusted these angles, and set the width of my leg (1.5"), it changed the bottom of the leg to an angle, whereas it should be flat on the ground or the red line on the program. In other words, I want to move the intersection point circled in red onto the x-axis while maintaining the angles. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Select bottom line and fix it with horizontal/vertical constraint.

Also, I assume you locked the vertical lines in place, which turned them green — and that’s why your bottom line behaves this way.

Would be more clear if you show us your sketch in sketch mode.

Thank you! It worked.

I’d recommend reading and watching videos about constraints. It’s a very important part of sketching — and sketching is the most important part of 3D modeling.
