Cheaper subscription for non professional users. (Home users)

This was discussed a lot a few years ago…

Given nothing has changed since then, I’d proffer they’ll never offer a “hobbyist” price point.

If I was a product manager at Shapr I’d be bumping up the main product price and introducing a hobbyist tier - monthly, not the annual lock in - at €15/£15/$15 and go after the low hanging fruit and batter the big boys pricing. I’d restrict some of the functionality to ensure it’s worthwhile for proper businesses to pay the full price, but let the hobbyists tinker. It’s totally doable.

Folks like video meeting company, Whereby, manage to make b2c and b2b pricing work. There’s no reason why Shapr couldn’t. They’re choosing not to (which don’t get me wrong, I understand why - I just don’t agree with it :smile: )

But clearly Shapr don’t see the value in that. Which is a shame.
