Create a dome

Trying to create a Dome. Have watched YouTube - Hollow Sphere Tutorial for Shapr3D by J Lake 3D several times and never can delete the center of the dome to hollow out. Have tried both Revolve and Shell method shown in video.

Draw it like this and revolve 180deg using the central line for the axis.
