Hi. I am relatively new to shapr. My project goal is to create different vertical planes from an uploaded 3d model STL. The thought is to export the different planes so that i can print them out as templates for a sheet metal sculpture. Pending on the view angle, when looking at the sculpture, you see the hole sculpture or more or less straight through the gaps btw the planes. Is this understandable and possible to du in shapr?
Yes. On my modell i want only vertical planes/slices.

If you just want to slice your .stl file, you can use the Plane and Split tools, as shown in the video. Just be aware that editing an .stl file is very limited.
