I’m having an issue with Shaper reading all of my on line encoded cuts as exterior cuts. I use the Shaper router exclusively at work to router text into wood blanks to be used as trail wayfinding signs. Admittedly I am not terribly design or computer savvy, but the process has been working for me up to about a month ago. I create the sign files in Adobe Illustrator, use the cut type encoding tool provided by Shaper to color code the text, save them as SVG files and upload them to Shaper Hub. This used to work great but now when I import the file to the router and go to start cutting, all the letters I coded as on line cuts are being read as exterior cuts. Weirdly the older files that are already loaded on the shaper are still encoded correctly. I am using the same process as before… Was there a change with an update? Can anyone help?
Are you on the right Forum? Shapr3d is a 3d CAD program not a software for the Cutter.
