I Have been creating drawings and sending them as DWG’s unfortunately although my laser cutters except DWG they can’t seem to open my drawings, I thought it was my design so I tried just send a simple disc but still no joy.
If I send the drawing to my friend who has cad he can see it, he then transfers it onto cad, sends it back to me then I can send it to the laser cutters.
Are there different versions of DWG or a drop down menu I’m not aware of.
I export dwg on a regular basis for use in AutoCAD. Could it be the sheet layout components that are messing with your laser? When you export as a dwg you also get paper space components. When I import things into Lightburn for use with my laser, I always use dxf.
