Is it possible to project a .svg image onto a flat face on an object then countersink the projected image ??
If the .SVG provides anything that the “sketch” toolkit can see and feel, you should be able to do the projection just like you talked about. If not however, that means Shapr probably only sees it as a flat image and you’re going to be stuck with tracing it by hand. I don’t know how to do it, but your best bet may be to find a way to convert/export your vector into a true mechanical “drawing” format like a .DXF or .DWG. Good luck
