I’m working with students who are submitting their Shapr files for feedback and grading.

I get the error
Import Failed
The model is incompatible with this version of Shapr3D.

I have students working on ipads, desktop macOS and PCs.

I work on a MacOS and the current version I have is 5.552.0. The file in question is a student’s who is working on a PC in version 5.560.6524.0.

Is there any way to fix this issue? I’m currently having them submit STEP files but that doesn’t give me the information I need to access.

I can share them. I’m having issues with almost any student file. I’ve included three files which one was created on MacOS, one on Ipad and one on PC.

It looks like I can’t upload attachments as a new user. Here is a link to a google folder with the three files.

Looks like some of your students are on the parametric version already. We’ve partially rolled out parametric modeling. The error is due to trying to import a Shapr design that was created in the parametric version in the non-parametric version.

I have 5.552.0.6503 (iPad). All three files from your link loaded fine. Loaded fine on my macbook (5.552.0.6503).
