Fill?

Is there a fill option?

Like in this picture, with a selected edge, is it possible to fill/insert a face.

Hello MartinM,

Yes. Many options. Depends on what you want to accomplish.

Fill the “hole”? Select the i.d. and then type in and or pull the dimension you want.
or
Select face, add/sketch a circle, then extrude to fill the “hole”.

Or you can subtract a insert from the body.

you can just pick the inner surface of the hole and pick delete it will fill it in solid.

If I draw a new circle it disappears?

I’m not sure what you are asking. If you just want to make a filler circle to fit into an end of the hole, one quick way is to extrude a new body from it and close the hole in new body before moving it into the original.

I used designspark before Shapr3D

Is this what you’re trying to do?

Hello MartinM & TigerMike,

Not sure if related, but on the attached, I discovered the subtract tool won’t work with the attached configuration. Trying to remove the two 3" holes from the gooseneck body.

Any tricks or work arounds would be appreciated.

One hole was already removed.

Thank you TigerMike,

The other hole still won’t subtract, and the first hole isn’t a “through hole” for some reason. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong here?

Thank you.
