Will there be any hardware or OS limitations? My 2015 iPad Pro cannot run iPadOS 17 so I’m expecting I’ll need an upgrade sooner or later, but hoping it’ll do me a couple of years more yet…
Hi
I just got my beta updated to 5.580 this morning on my iPad (it was just updated yesterday to solve the crash problem, which works great now) I read the points about what the 5.580 update included, but now it is updated, I cannot find what those were? There was something about lofts which interests me a lot for my work type. Would it be possible to give a list of these updates.
Even better could some one give a brief tutorial on how the loft adjustments would work in history?
When can we expect the regular (non-beta) version to support history-based parametric modeling?
Early April. We are targeting April 8th.
Will it include variables support? Hard to make serious full parametric project without variables.
Initially not, but variables will be available in the first half of the year.
I tried using the beta version on Windows, but the sketch functionality was extremely laggy which is not the case on the release version.
Is this a known issue? or just me?
Currently running
Ryzen 5600x
32GB of ram
Windows 11
Hi Istvan,
any news on the public update for parametric modeling?
I’m just excited and looking forward to implement parametric modeling in my productive workflow
Keep up the great work you do!
Istvan, I read you article “What is CAD” and I must say that is one of the best writings covering this that I have read. So very well put and digestible in it’s “simplification”.
Thank You, I gained a portion of additional respect!
Now, it led me to think of a bunch of input but I’ll spare you this as you might have seen.
I now have this program in “conjunction” with Onshape and I think these two are most formidable for an entrepeneur like me. However, the cost is always an issue especially with Onshape. Shapr3D is very well priced for what one gets… period
P.s. Please just try to clean up dimension side of things and I can give one good advice - Colors, always appreciated that in Rhino, not talking Visualization. In addition I now understand much better all problems I had with surfaces in Rhino after I read your article.
Can you please as well expand a bit on the security/safety issues as well, I think you will inevitably have to address that henceforth in your progress. This is well communicated with Onshape.
Thanks for the info
