A friend wanted to remove the electric starter from his motorcycle, but the remaining hole needed to be plugged. I measured the old starter and engine case where it’s installed, and used Shapr to design a simple plug with an oring groove and retaining bolt to hold it in place.
It was a perfect slip fit, and the new precision adjustments in the drawing mode worked great to hit the diameters I needed on the lathe.
@Rogerlj Linear and angular precision is adjustable in the drawing space now with the latest update.
It’s in the settings menu within the dimensioned drawings.
Make sure you are running the latest version 4.4 if it doesn’t appear.
