How to add grooves to a vase

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying my hand at a vase and wanted to add some grooves to the side. I already have the basis for it. Now I want the edges of the groove (on the right in the picture) to form a clean transition to the vase. I have already tried replacing the faces, adding an axis rotation or working with the rounding and chamfering tool. But unfortunately not with the desired result. I have circled the position from where to where the groove should go and the desired shape of the groove.

One way is to sweep a shape down your profile on the right side. Make a plane on a curve and draw e.g. a triangle. Then use the sweep tool and then the pattern tool. Wallah!

You can use the sweep tool to add material or cut material away.
