How to align text?

Hey lovely people,

I want to sketch up punch marks for a bending tool and I’m looking for an easy way to align the degree figures to a shared baseline. Are there good ways to achieve this or is it mere eyeballing and living without precision? Also, when starting the tool, is there a way to control where the text appears?

You can use center point to snap selected text to geometry by dragging via rectangle.
