How to import complex shapes from ai file to shapr3d?

That is one of vectors i worked for, and there are total 40 of them.
I want to import them to make them 3D,then combine them together as a ball.

Unless Ai can export it as one of the 3D formats that Shapr can import, you’re stuck with either Jpg (for reference only), DFX, PDF or SVG(?) which are 2D formats that you can import for reference or in the case of DFX extrude shapes from it provided you have closed shapes.

If you export as DFX you will have a lot of overhead as the curves will be broke down to line segments and you will have a lot of them based on your provided image, which will equate to a lot of computing overhead. You will likely bog your system down. I use Corel Draw to export complex drawings in DfX format. It has a “reduce nodes” feature that mitigates the number of line segments. Not as familiar with Ai.

I can almost make out an ornament like shape that could be created in Shapr using the your drawing accompanied by a side view, top view etc for reference.
