I cannot export to step - get error to create body and set visible in Win

I cannot export to step - get error to create body and set visible in Win. Have business version.

  1. Import STL model - works OK. Everything appears to be there
  2. Export to STEP - no go. Get error message re body and visibility
  3. Saw notice of bug in OS version, but no fix for win

Hi! Mesh models cannot be simply exported as CAD models, the two file types differ in a lot of things. They have to be remodeled (or converted but that can lead to questionable results) to brep entities before exporting as STEP/IGES.
