Incompatible project(s) reported on Shapr3D (Windows 11 Pro)

For product and systems design I use the combination of PTC Creo Elements Direct (Windows 11 Pro) and Shapr3D (both Windows 11 Pro 24H2 and Apple OS Sonoma 14.7.3).

Shapr3D version
5.790.0 (8143) on Apple Mac Mini M1 2020 and OS Sonoma
5.771.0 (8028) on ASUS NUC 14 Pro+ and Windows 11 Pro

On Februari 6, 2025 Shapr3D reported incompatible project(s) on the Windows version (see screen shot). On both OS systems Shapr3D has the latest version.

How can these issues be resolved.

Windows has matching versions.

If your Mac is on 5.79 and your windows machine has 5.771 see if you can update.

My Windows computer is on 5.79 now.

Hi,

the same here:
Incompatibility between Win 5.771.0 and iPadOS 5.790
I cant open my models made on iPad on Windows.

regards

I checked the Shapr3D version on Windows 11 Pro. There seems to be no way to upgrade to version 5.790.0 - see screen shots.

there is no newer version available at the microsoft app store

“Incompatible project” usually shows up when one of your devices is running an older version of Shapr3D. Please kindly ensure all devices are running on the same app version.

Hi
Just go to the website windows download page and click to download.
As soon as the installer is run, it automatically updates the App to 5.790
I did that about 10mins after the update was posted on the forum, because I could not instigate a manual update of the software.

This morning the Shapr3D download page showed following version 5.790.0.8143 from the Download for Windows knob.

In the Windows Store and on my PC the version was 5.771.0.8028 - a mismatch.

This afternoon (NL 16:30 hr) the Apple Shapr3D App advised downloading the latest version: 5.7910.0.8191 which I successfulli installed and started.

Next I switched to my Windows 11 Pro PC and removed the 5.771.0.8028 install.
After installing the 5.790.0.8143 version from the Shapr3D website and starting the app I was advised to update Shapr3D to the 5.7910.0.8191 version. This process completed successfully.

Both Shapr3D installs on Apple Mac Mini and Windows PC are now in sync.
Issue resolved!
