Is there a limit on the size of a Shapr3d project?

I am building a detailed model of a steam locomotive. It would be useful to include all the components (perhaps 500) in a single project which I would regularly back up. What are the limits on project size?

Hi,

There is no limit in terms of number of components / bodies in the modelspace. There is an overall modelspace size limit of 1km3, your project will take up storage on your device, and naturally having a lot of bodies in one project will impact performance, but these all depend on your device’s capabilities.

I’ve done a couple of projects with well over 500 parts and Shapr3D handled them well. The projects took a 10 or more seconds to open, but responded normally as I worked on them.
