Hello, I am relatively new to CAD and I am working on this simple clock face project. I am not able to extrude the center of the zero in the number ten to match the top plane of the surface of teh clock face. The game is 1.250” and the numbers are extruded to 1.125”, had no issues with any of the other numerals just the 10. When I pick the inner circle of the zero it does not change color or allow me to extrude it. Maybe I am going about the process all wrong to create the face idk
Sometimes changing up the order of extrusion worked for me. Extrude the center first and the 0 next. That sort of thing.
Try hiding everything else and extruding the center.
Try extruding to a different height. Then adjusting later.
All these things worked for me in the past.
Made many of these and those are the things I had to do to get them to work. I do not know why. I am assuming you placed the sketch of the “0” in the circle clock face.
Thank you for the reply, I have tried a few things like doing the center first but when I do I can no longer extrude any other number. Yes the 0 is inside the circumference of the clock face. It’s very odd problem
If you can extrude 0 but nothing else, is it because sketch disappears? Sketches automatically hides after extrusion so can’t select anything to extrude.
Or you can select the sketch but it just doesn’t extrude at all?
I can select the sketch and extrude all numbers with the exception of the center of the zero. I just tried a new one with a different font and I get to the end and I cant extrude the center of the 4
What font is it? Also the font size.
I know certain font has issue extruding, requires a manual fix, because some fonts are not CAD friendly.
The ZERO having that issue is kind of odd though, if you can tell what that font was too.
First one was Arial with a 1” font, the second one I did Apple Gothic 1” font
I don’t have problems with those fonts, so not sure what the issue is. If nothing works I would contact the Support.
I extruded the numbers, you can import these in your project. It’s the same ones you mentioned and sized at 1 inch

Update to the extrude issue from the original post, after messing with the 2 models I created I was able to get the inside of the zero from the first and the inside of the 4 on the second model to extrude. I hade to hide the main body, change the view of the sketch to the bottom view. Then I was able to pick the area to extrude and extrude it to the correct dim.
Thank you!
