Labels and Dimensions

Hi,

Is there a way to add dimension labels that are not elements or lines in a sketch? Or, do have to draw a fixed line to always show a measurement? I would like to just label some areas in the sketch with a measurement that will not be used in the 3D model. For example, when I draw a circle I see the radius but can I show a label/dimension of the diameter of the circle using a horizontal or vertical option? I’ve used some modeling apps before that had a measuring tape icon that allowed for that and just used a dotted line to create measurement labels. Does that make sense?

Thanks so much!

Currently you can’t, but it would make a lot of sense. It’s on our roadmap, but we don’t have an ETA yet.

I would find this useful, too

Insteadly ,you could take a screen shot and write the info beside your circle.

I have been considering using the constraints as labels for dimensions. They appear if you constrain them (set the padlock). However, it is a bit of a hack, so a real dimensioning option, with good “snapshot” functionality similar to what you have today would be good.
