Every time i attach and draw a line or shape and fine tune the dimension the original line moves to adjust the size of the starting point. Example I draw a line 10” long then in the same direction i draw a line 11 1/2” long but lets say i make a mistake and make it 12” when I adjust the line length in the line box the original line changes by the size difference or if its a complex drawing the entire drawing shifts. The only way I’ve been able to avoid this is draw a line 90 degrees to my original then another line in the originally direction with corrected length.

Use the lock feature. Three ways to lock, click a point and there will be a small lock right next to the point, the lock under the constraints options on the lower right by default, and lastly you can lock the length of the line, it will automatically lock when a custom length is entered but some lines may still move
Honestly, I don’t know if it’s a glitch of a feature, I’ve just become accustomed to locking everything
